The team

Four founders, two decades of low-temperature physics.

The founding team of ARQUE Systems GmbH – comprised of Markus Beckers, Hendrik Bluhm, Wolfgang Meißner, and Lars Schreiber – combines scientific excellence in fault-tolerant quantum architectures with in-depth hardware expertise for realizing qubits in silicon, alongside extensive management experience and entrepreneurial vision. With interdisciplinary expertise and over 20 years of experience in low-temperature quantum physics, the founders are driving the development of cutting-edge quantum technologies.

Their scientific careers at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University of Cambridge, along with their proven expertise in leading international large-scale projects and consulting (McKinsey), highlight their unique blend of technological capability and strategic thinking. The founding team is further complemented by a steadily growing group of experts in software development, qubit design, quantum architectures, and quantum error correction.

This exceptional synergy of innovation, research, and practical application positions ARQUE Systems as a pioneer in developing scalable quantum technologies.
